Ali Nasser
Ali Nasser is the #1 Amazon Best-Selling author of “The Business Owner’s Dilemma.”
He is a passionate entrepreneur, communicator, and life enthusiast. His goal is to help business owners navigate their biggest decisions at the intersection of wealth and life planning.
He is the Founder and CEO of AltruVista, an advisory firm specialized to business owners, providing Family CFO, wealth-planning, and Asset Management Services.
Ali is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP). He also taught comprehensive financial planning at Rice University for 7 years.
Walter Tomlinson
Walter Tomlinson co-founded Statesman as a Principal in 1998 and serves as Principal/Managing Director of Investment Banking.
Prior to Statesman, Walter accumulated over 12 years of direct management and operational experience within several different industrial related companies in which he was involved as an owner operator and a major shareholder. Walter’s extensive operational background proves extremely valuable in advising Statesman’s clients on positioning businesses for sale, strategic planning to maximize value, business sales/ purchase negotiations and structuring, growth strategy planning.
Walter has led the successful completion of numerous mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and strategic planning engagements. He is a graduate of the University of Houston with a BBA in Finance. Walter is registered with FINRA as a General Securities Principal / Investment Banker (Series 7, 24, 63, and 79).
Walter has been actively involved in numerous civic and non-profit organizations, including serving on the Boards of the Texas Lyceum, Center for Houston’s Future, TMF Heath Quality Institute, and Confucian Lyceum Institute, and as a Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America. Walter is married with three children.
